Year 4 Egyptian Workshop

Year 4 had the opportunity to experience life as an Ancient Egyptian! We took part in a workshop where we learned some of the skills needed by this ancient civilisation. These included operating a shadoof, an irrigation tool to provide water to the fields, grinding barley seeds to make flour and manoeuvring a reed boat carrying stone bricks to build a pyramid. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and worked well as teams to make sure the pyramid was completed!
