Year 5 visit to St John's Church

Year 5 walked to St John's Church in Stanmore to learn more about the Christmas story. We were greeted by Reverend Wendy Wall, the Assistant Curate of St John's Church, who kindly shared a presentation with us about the Christmas story. We read lines from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke in the New Testament of the Bible and placed figurines in the nativity scene as the Christmas story was being told. It was a lovely visit which supported our R.E. learning about Christianity.
